SUMMER SAILSTICE 2007
at Treasure Island Sailing Center

Celebrate the spirit of sailing and support community outreach sailing programs! Join us for a weekend of fun-filled activities, including the best sailing party on the Bay!

SUMMER SAILSTICE CELEBRATION - Main Event - June 23rd, 4-9pm
Enjoy live music by the CRB (Caribbean Rhythm and Blues), free boat rides complements of J World, hosted bar serving Mount Gay rum, Teira wines, Dry Creek wines, and Lagunitas beer; irresistible silent and online auction packages, and a chance to win a trip to Bitter End Yacht Club! All for only $20 -- kids are our guests and get free admission!  Delectable food by Chicken Hooray also available for purchase at the event.              Get your tickets today.

SUMMER SAILSTICE REGATTA – June 23rd & 24th
The racing will be held on three different venues close to Treasure Island: Clipper Cove, Emeryville Flats, and Berkeley Circle. Each race course offers excellent conditions for the variety of boats and sailors who will be at the event. For short course racing and for the young sailors, Clipper Cove offers excellent flat-water conditions and includes a BAYS (Bay Area Youth Sailing) regatta hosted by TISC. For the older kids and larger dinghies, Emeryville flats offers moderate winds, tidal current, and a light chop. For the keelboats, the Berkeley Circle offers strong winds, ripping currents and surfable waves. Each course will have expert Race Committees for a packed weekend of excellent racing for sailors of all ages and skill levels. Click here for more information.

SUMMER SAILSTICE PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT - June 23rd and 24th
Club Nautique is hosting a photo scavenger hunt of the bay. Grab your camera and your crew and cruise around capturing classic San Francisco Bay sights and treasures.  The more points you accumulate the greater your chances are of winning some fantastic prizes!  Visit the Club Nautique website  for more information.

TREASURE ISLAND YACHT CLUB DINNER AND SPEAKER SERIES - June 22nd - 6pm reception, 7pm dinner.  Treasure Island Yacht Club is hosting a beautiful dinner in their clubhouse. You can choose grilled steak or salmon (includes salad, garlic bread, corn on the cob, dessert & coffee).   Make reservations now or call (415) 434-4475

TREASURE ISLE MARINA BBQ - June 23 at 12:30pm with all the fixings!   All you need is your appetite and a whole lot of napkins, because no day of sailing would be complete without a sweet BBQ.  Make reservations now or call 415/981-2416.

DINNER, DANCING AND LIVE BAND - June 23 5pm - 9pm Delicious chicken dinners for just $12 by Chicken Hooray.  Chow down while getting down to the island beats of Carribean Rythm and Blues.

CLIPPER COVE TREASURE HUNT - June 23, 4pm
Yarr, Matey!  Bring your shovels and dig for priceless treasure at Clipper Cove, hosted by the Treasure Island Yacht Club. Prizes include toys, candy, pirate treasure & more! The children’s treasure hunt will start at 4:00 pm on Clipper Cove beach. 

MOVIE NIGHT AT TREASURE ISLAND YACHT CLUB – June 23, 9pm.   After the Main Event party head over to Treasure Island Yacht Club for a video and slide presentation of recent action at the America's Cup racing in Valencia. Get an up close account of the most technologically advanced sailboats in the world.

TREASURE ISLAND YACHT CLUB SUNDAY PANCAKE BRUNCH –  June 24th - 8 am.  Stack ‘em high and drown ‘em with syrup, we invite you to fill up with some flap jacks before the big day on the water! Make reservations now or call 415/434-4475.
