The
2010 BIG Team Regatta is scheduled for October 1st!
The
San Francisco BIG Team Regatta is a corporate team building event
to benfit Treasure Island Sailing Center. Four
person teams funded by community-minded corporations and philanthropic
individuals will sail identical performance sailboats provided by OCSC
and staffed with a professional sailing coach. Each team will experience
sailing’s special power for honing communication and collaborative
skills during a team building/race training session conducted by GEL and
OCSC in advance of the regatta.10 boats, 10 crews, 10 coaches,
one amazing experience!

Opening Day
At Treasure Island Sailing Center
April 24th,
2010
Celebrate spring and welcome back summer at Treasure Island Sailing
Center's Opening Day! There will be FREE boat rides, kayaking, face
painting, food, games, entertainment, and more. So bring your friends,
your salty uncle, your sailors in training and come celebrate sailing on
the San Francisco Bay!
NEW at this year’s celebration: demo of windsurfing and stand up paddle
boarding, popular water sport classes we will introduce in this year's
youth programs beginning July. Come sign up!
Date: April 24, 2010
Time: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. (all day) free sailboat rides, kayaking,
concessions, and games
12 p.m. Presentation by TISC
2 p.m. Sailboat racing, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding
demonstration

Boating Week Event

The first 100 visitors to this event will receive a free life jacket!
TISC will be providing Vessel Safety Checks, proper life jacket fit,
safe boating information, Coast Guard demonstrations, live rescue
demonstration, free boat rides, BBQ, music, games, raffle prizes and
more! Come join the fun!
