The Treasure Island Sailing Center (TISC) is committed to providing affordable sailing experiences and scholarships to youth and adaptive participants. TISC never turns away a child and has no limit to the number of scholarships we award. In 2017, TISC provided over 2,000 scholarships to Youth and Adaptive sailors. Over 80% of our youth sailors attended on full scholarship. TISC has scholarships available for both youth groups and individuals. Please email info@tisailing.org if you require any assistance with this process.
Please complete your scholarship application at the link below before registering for our programs. There is a $30 annual application fee for Scholarships. All supporting documents must be uploaded as part of the application (please see list of supporting documentation options below). Once you have completed the application, you’ll receive an email informing you of your approval. The scholarship will automatically be applied when you register for spring or summer camp.
TISC uses the United States Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to set our scholarship threshold. The FPL is determined annually and found here. Half Price Scholarships will be awarded to students 18 or younger with household incomes equal to or less than 300% of FPL. Full Scholarships will be awarded to students 18 or younger with household incomes equal to or less than 200% of FPL.
