Life jackets are required for everyone when they are near the water and on boats. Sailors and program participants are supervised closely by instructors and staff members who are all First Aid/CPR certified. While on the water, sailors are accompanied by an instructor who is either on the boat with them or on a safety boat close by. We have an additional safety motorboat on the dock, with supervisory staff ready to assist if needed. All of our staff carry VHF radios for fast communication with each other and the office.

When registering your child/children, you will need to create an account on our registration system, Amilia, for yourself using your email address. You will then be able to add each child that you register for classes. This is necessary to collect every child’s medical information. Please note, if you are applying for a scholarship, the scholarship application should be completed here first. Please email manager@tisailing.org or phone (415) 421-2225 if you have any questions.

Yes – please apply via our website and  complete your scholarship application before you register for our programs. Once you’ve completed the application, you’ll receive an email letting you know whether you have been approved, and when you register for spring or summer camp the scholarship will automatically be applied. For more information please visit https://www.tisailing.org/scholarships. If you require any assistance with this process,

please email manager@tisailing.org.

Our programs are open to children ages 8-12 and teens ages 13-17. Check out www.tisailing.org/youth for more information on our classes to assist you in selecting the best choice for your child.

Our Extended Care program is offered during summer camp from 8:00am – 9:00am and from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, contingent on COVID-19 guidelines. Please note, extended care is not available for our Spring and Fall programs.

Although we do not formally organize carpools, we will be happy to provide you with a list of other TISC parents who are interested. You are responsible for making contacts and arranging rides. For more information on transportation options for our summer programs, please see our Youth Program Manual.
